Bringing Your AI Agent to Life

Now it’s time to activate your AI Agent — and it’s easier than you think.

You've built the knowledge base. You've got your instructions from the Instructions Agent. Now it's time to make your agent real.

In less than ten minutes, you'll have a working AI agent ready to save you time every single day.

What You Need

  • Your instructions prompt from the Instructions Agent (Lesson 3)
  • Your agent title, description, and conversation starters (from Instructions Agent)
  • Your knowledge base files (Lesson 2)
  • ChatGPT Plus (or Claude) account ($20/month)

Deploying Your Agent as a GPT

The easiest way to get your agent working. Simple, stable, shareable.

Follow these steps exactly:

  1. Log in to your ChatGPT Plus account
  2. Click "Create a GPT" (top left menu)
  3. Select "Configure"
  4. Add agent name (no effect on performance)
  5. Add description  (no effect on performance)
  6. Paste your instructions
  7. Add conversation starters  (no effect on P)
  8. Upload your knowledge base files
  9. Save your GPT
  10. Copy your agent link

That's it. Your agent is live and ready to work.

Other Chat Deployments

Prefer Claude for longer content or creative writing? Here's the flow:

  • Deployment on Claude

Log in to your Claude account (paid account required).

    • Navigate to "Projects."
    • Name your Project. (Again, doesn’t affect performance.)
    • Paste your instructions in the Project description field.
    • Upload your prepared documents.
    • Save your Project.

    Note:

Claude currently does not accept images for Projects, but you can upload them into the Chat.

Claude Agents stay private unless you upgrade to their Max Plan ($100+/mo).

Deploy on Any Platform. You can inject your agent into any AI chat interface:

  • Deployment onto any LLM

    Meta, Google, Grok, etc.

You can "inject" your agent into any large language model chat interface by doing this manually:

    Open a new chat.

Paste your full agent instructions as the first prompt.

Upload relevant documents if the platform supports it.

Then, enter your first task after your instructions prompt.

Best practice: Add "ask me three clarifying questions before you begin so you fully understand my goals and expectations."

Conclusion: Start Smart

When things are hard to use, people don’t use them. Manual deployments work... but they're clunky.

When things are easy to use, people use them more often.

Make your first agent easy to use.

That’s why we recommend starting with GPT.

  • Easy team access
  • Shareable links
  • Full-featured interface

If you primarily do creative writing or longer-form storytelling, and are choosing between the two, Claude could be a better fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I share my agent?

Copy your GPT link and send it to anyone. They can use your agent for free even without paid ChatGPT accounts. The more people who give you feedback, the faster you'll discover gaps for optimization.

  • What about other deployment options?

This course teaches you to build chat agents designed to work internally with you and your team. Autonomous agents and income agents use the same knowledge base and instructions foundation, but they're built with different intentions - autonomous agents work independently without you, and income agents serve paying customers. These require more technical expertise for deployment. If you'd like to explore those, we can help.

  • What if my agent gives wrong information?

That's exactly what the next lesson covers. We'll show you how to diagnose issues and refine your agent quickly. Most problems are simple knowledge base gaps that take minutes to fix.
